Mexican politician and analyst Porfirio Muñoz Ledo presented his most recent book, La ruptura que viene, on November 17, 2008, with the support of the University of Guadalajara and the Worldwide Consortium for Research on Mexico of the University of California (PROFMEX).
La ruptura que viene includes articles, speeches, letters and interviews from the author from 1999-2008. Is a reflection on the last three decades of contemporary Mexican history, the failed transitions of government, breaking away from the ideas of the past and on the need for a new Mexican Republic.
